Mountain Light Sanctuary is a Spiritual Retreat Center near Asheville, North Carolina. The Sanctuary lies in a mountain cove bordered by two beautiful creeks in the Pisgah National forest, near the hamlet of Dillingham, NC. The gardens and landscape, along with the peaceful, harmonious atmosphere which the owner strives to create and maintain, contribute to an overall "good vibe" which appealed to us immediately.

Life at the sanctuary proceeds at a gentle pace, immersed in the natural surroundings. There are nooks and crannies all over the place which invite the guest to wander in and spend time in quiet reflection.

There are still a couple rooms or shelters available if you think you may want to stay at the venue. We will be staying in the open front room on the second floor. See the "Mtn. Light Lodging" pages for more information, and do make sure you read all of the caveats regarding the accommodations. The Sanctuary is a very comfortable place to visit, but if you require all of the full amenities of urban life, staying here could be a challenge. But please do consider it; we'd love to have you!
