The Mountain Light Sanctuary has accommodations for a couple dozen people. It's a delightful place to stay, though it's definitely not like staying in your typical Holiday Inn. As of mid-August, the Sanctuary has been fully booked and registration is closed.
Elfhaven Lodge. This is the main two-story lodge, with ten rooms / sleeping areas total. Electricity available throughout, and there is a kitchen, small dining area, and refrigerator. Joella and Steve are staying in the Wisteria Room. The other rooms are: Bamboo Room, Meadowlark Room, Hummingbird Room, Morning Glory Room, Snapdragon Room, Foxglove Room, Goldenrod Room, the Garden Suite, and the Gnome Lodge.
Hermitage. A two-story cottage with electricity, four walls, and doors, overlooking the creek. Sleeps up to four, though the upstairs is pretty cozy. We stayed there in early April and it was quite nice.
Shelters. There are five shelters without electricity scattered about the sanctuary. Three are walled with bamboo on three sides and two are basically canopied beds with a roof. They're also quite cool. I wanna stay in the new Bamboo Tower sometime (pictured at right), and the Treehouse, too... They are: Bali House, Treehouse, Hobbit Hut, Merlin Wood, and Bamboo Tower.
If you are staying with us at the Sanctuary...Great! We're going to have a good time. For those who are lodging with us, or considering lodging with us, please read this page for important information and additional guidelines that pertain to guests-in-residence.
